WHAT IS BROW TATTOOING?

The brow tattoo is a cosmetic tattoo where ink is implanted into the skin to create realistic hair strokes for the most natural and undetectable tattooed brow.

My brow tattooing methods specifically place ink into the most upper layers of the skin so as they soften over time with the skins natural exfoliation process.

To create the best results with my techniques two sessions 6-8 weeks apart are required to complete your tattoo.

Your second session must be completed within this timeframe. This is due to the nature of your skin and the skin cell turnover that occurs in the natural exfoliation process, lightening the first layer of the tattoo too much for the second sessions ideal result if left too long.

WHICH METHOD YOU OFFER?

MACHINE HAIRSTROKES

With this method I use my machine which penetrates the skin. The machine implants the ink with a dotting motion over and over to create each hair stroke. Machine Hairstrokes is suited to all skin types. But is especially suited to a more oily, sensitive, or mature type that does not necessarily suit other methods such as microblading. This technique is also beautiful for creating detailed realistic patterns where brows are extremely over plucked, or where there is no hair at all.

Reservation deposits are taken at the time of your booking to secure your appointment. The remaining will be paid on the day of your appointment.

Booking fees are non refundable. Appointments can be moved once with a minimum of 72 hours notice, changes within this time frame will require a new booking fee.

HOW LONG DOES THE BROW TATTOO LAST?

This is very dependant on each individual, taking into consideration skin types and how you look after the tattoo. This includes how you adhere to the aftercare when healing and once healed - both very important to the life of your brow tattoo.

Generally the timeframe is around 1 to 2 years, however I prefer not to put a time on deciding if you need a colour refresh and rather ask each person to gauge this by how the colour is softening over time.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN TO BOOK A COLOUR REFRESH?

When your tattoo is 50% or more faded this is a good time to consider having your tattoo refreshed. I ask for you to wait at least this long so as to ensure that your brows do not become over pigmented and so as to prevent blurring of the strokes as the natural and realistic design will be lost.

Disclaimer:

Your second session must be completed in the time frame outlined. After this time frame, you may need a longer appointment or to start again.

Colour refreshers are recommended approximately 1-2 years to maintain shape, colour and detail, I do not recommend you coming in too soon to avoid over pigmentation.

Refresh appointments are available to existing clients, if you have existing work from elsewhere please get in touch via email or through the contact page to see if I am able to work with your existing tattoo.

You are ready for your refresh when your tattoo is faded by 60-70%. Adding pigment to the skin and strokes too soon will result in blurred hairstrokes and realistic results will not be achievable.

For all tattooing 72 business hours notice is required if you decide to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Failure to do so could result in a lost deposit.
